I-DOCS was launched in June 2016 and is the brainchild of Intelento CEO Gawie Riekert and his team of directors, who identified several challenges within the Debt Review industry. These challenges are faced on a daily basis by Debt Counsellors such as obtaining live ITC reports, accurate calculation of restructure budgets, generation of relevant documentation and the biggest challenge of all, to get the consumer to sign and submit relevant documentation back to the Debt Counsellor. By identifying these challenges and scrutinizing the manual process that Debt Counsellors followed to assist over indebted consumers, an automated system and process was needed.

 

Months of planning and programming finally took shape into what we know today as the ONLY effective and efficient automated quoting system of its kind in South Africa. With fully integrated functionalities, not only with Credit Bureaus but also integrated into the DC Partner and Simplicity to avoid any human error when capturing clients information into the PDA systems. 

 

The I-DOCS system not only generates several different suitable budgets based on NCR task team rules but also allows the Debt Counsellor to set the calculations based on their business rules to ensure the most suitable and effective budget is proposed to both the consumer and their creditors. As well as the automation of document generation such as Form 16, Debit Order Cancellation Documents, Power of Attorney as well as relevant mandates that need to be signed by the Consumer. I-DOCS has a 3 tiered secure Digital Signature functionality and client portal, which makes the signing and submitting of documentation a seamless process for the consumer.

 

After completing I-DOCS quoting module the next step was to develop a one of a kind Legal Suite which automatically compiles court documentation by a click of a button, accompanied by the launch of I-DOCS.net a legal courier service available to Debt Counsellors whereby an I-DOCS.net attorney will make contact with the Consumer and collect all outstanding supporting documentation. As well as getting Confirmatory Affidavits signed and commissioned in the comfort of their Workplace or Home, the I-DOCS.net Legal team will obtain a Case Number and Setdown Date for all cases. Once again this is a massive challenge for Debt Counsellors and could be a costly exercise for the Consumer.
